After receiving his undergraduate degree majoring in accounting, Colman Ginsparg passed the Certified Public Accountants Exam and received his CPA certification in 1957. He was employed by a CPA firm for several years while attending law school at Chicago Kent College of Law. After receiving his JD degree in 1963, he ceased practicing as a CPA and joined the law firm of Bernard Kleinman, Ltd., in 1964, where he was employed until the formation of Ginsparg, Bolton & Associates, Ltd. (GBA), in 2000. GBA became associated with Kelly, Olson, Michod, DeHaan & Richter, L.L.C. in January, 2015, where Colman is presently Of Counsel. Colman is also an Ordained Rabbi.
Colman's practice areas include: individual and business income tax planning and return preparation; financial, estate and gift planning, and return preparation; not-for-profit entities, obtaining exemption from income tax, and return preparation; probate, wills and trusts; real estate purchase and sale; structuring business entities; and representation before the Internal Revenue Service.
